RubinBrown LLP has acquired Chicago-based Liberty Technology Advisors. John F. Herber, Jr., CPA, CGMA, chairman of RubinBrown, and Joel Schneider, president of Liberty Technology Advisors, jointly made the announcement.

Liberty Technology Advisors has been serving clients in the technology and software consulting industry for over 25 years. The company focuses on working with clients to assess and select ERP and enterprise business software, as well as improve and optimize business processes, technology, and performance.

The newly combined firm will operate within RubinBrown’s Business Advisory Services Group which offers extensive services in business improvement and reorganization, cyber security, enterprise risk management, fraud and forensics, information technology and risk services. Joel Schneider will be joining as a partner in the firm and all Liberty Technology Advisors team members are joining RubinBrown and will continue to be based in Chicago.
